For the most part, sod for lawns in Stonebridge were purchased from SuperSod in Orangeburg.
Some homeowners have replaced with other varieties. Recommendations are for most homeowners.
We have TifBlair centipede turf variety.
They have low water, low nutrient requirements. They do not do well with heavy foot traffic.
During the growing season they need an inch of water weekly.
Fertilizers and weed contol like Scott's is not recommended. Mechanical weeding is preferred.
Lawn services like TruGreen, etc. are not recommended. Following recommendations should suffice.
Healthy grass will send runners to cover bare patches. Fertilize with their recommendation or
use organic compost/humus soil for top dressing
Bagging is ideal but not required. However it can lessen thatch issues.
It goes brown and dormant in winter.
Best way to maintain is to follow directions from the grower.

Dryer vent - clean out 2 times a year; check exterior vent annually and clear of lint buildup
Washer hoses - check annually; replace every 5 years
Tankless water heater - flush and clean every 1-2 years
Home exterior trim and gutters - pressure wash or scrub clean annually (post pollen season if possible)
Refrigerator - clean coils annually
